About me
I’m a New Zealand-based service designer and researcher with 15+ years’ experience working across government, NGOs and communities.
I started as a journalist in the UK and I bring that instinct for asking better questions into everything I do.
I focus on what organisations intend and what people actually experience and implement effective design to close the gap.
Services I offer
Most people come to me when something isn’t working, but no one can quite explain why.
Research
I go and find out what’s actually happening, not what reports say is happening.
You get clear, grounded insights you can act on.
Workshops
No fluff. I design sessions that cut through noise and get to decisions quickly.
Design training
I help teams build practical design capability.
That means less theory, more doing, working with real problems so people leave more confident and more useful.
Communications
If people don’t understand it, they won’t use it.
I make complex things clear, usable and hard to ignore.
